It is our goal to provide you an affordable and simple way to visit and enjoy the authentic Italy.
It is free to apply, and once you are accepted there will be a $400 program fee.
To allow flexibility and affordability you will be responsible for booking and paying for transportation to your host family.
We are happy to provide recommendations and tips on booking your accommodations once you have been matched!
During your stay with your host family they will provide your daily meals. We encourage you to embrace the local cuisine but please communicate any allergies and preferences to your host family so reasonable accommodations can be made.
If you plan to visit other cities or countries during your contracted time you will be responsible for those arrangements as well. Luckily you will find many affordable modes of transportation that will allow you to visit the many world famous sites Italy has to offer.
Your host family will be responsible for providing you a small weekly allowance. This is to help you pay for extra toiletries and small treats or travel expenses. Generally it will be about $60 a week but will vary depending on the time of year and family you stay with.
